  Buy this product and you will feel like you had a facial, seriously. I have used it twice and my skin felt ultra soft. This kit is easy to use, simply rub the crystals on your face for about 1-2 minutes. The crystals are like a salt scrub. Then put the peel serum directly on top of the crystals and rub for about 1 minute (it will feel warm on your skin). Then rinse throughly with warm water. Less than 5 minutes and you are finished! The kit looks like you could use it 10-20 times before running out. Be careful not to get it near your nostrils and eyes. After using this kit, my pores were less noticable and my skin wasn't red like most products will do.   Effective, keeps it's promise - reletively pricey, though

  I hemmed and hawed over buying this, spending 15 minutes looking at it in the drugstore before deciding to buy it. Then I had to literally run to the register and pay before I changed my mind. I'm glad I did.I didn't know what to expect, since I've never used a microdermabrasion product before. I have no regrets. This seemed to lift a veil of dullness from my face, even as I was massaging in the tiny crystals, which are the first half of the treatment. Both elements of the treatment smell divine. I recommend this product to anyone who is on a tight budget, or dosen't have time to skip off to a dermatologists office over their lunch break (like the beauty magazines nonchalantly suggest) for a professional chemical peel.The missing star is due to the high price. I think that there are similar products on the market available for 7-10 dollars less, though I can't vouch for their effectiveness.   Just purchased - good price (after checking out the ProX prices, and that thing they have on the infomercial at over $250).Anyway, at 61, my skin is pretty good for my age, but it ain't 25 year old skin anymore! This product has done a nice job, and I've only used it 3 times - I already see a difference, a 'brighter' refreshed look. Just for the hell of it, I used the pad twice, and it worked fine! Maybe I didn't use it long enough the first time so it still had some "go" left in it. But, give it the ol' 1-2 try!I would have liked the pads to be maybe a little more abrasive - for older skin, that would be better.   I love this product. There are sufficient microdermabrasion pads included in this pack to get you hooked on using it--and hooked you will be, for the results speak for themselves. My face is squeaky clean and smooth after using, and I feel like my other facial products are that much more effective (such as moisturizers and serums) after using this product every 3 days. It seems to be having good results in terms of decreasing the look and size of my pores.As a fun aside note....I think that this product could also be used, ahem, for another purpose.   I'm have sensitive skin. I've been using this machine for about a month and I can see a marked improvement in skin tone and clarity, as well as new softness to my face. I also had a few hard raised bumps on my face, called milia, which are starting to clear up.   Okay, so 80 bucks seems like a lot of money to plunk down for an at-home microdermabrasion kit...especially when everyone from Homedics to L 'Oreal is marketing a more cost-friendly version of what appears to be the same EXACT thing. However, experience (and lots of money not-so-well spent) has taught me that, in most cases, you generally get what you pay for.   Lovely soft skin can be yours!

  At first I was hesitant to ante up the $ to purchase the dermanew system, but after a few friends raved about it, I decided to buy it.The system includes a battery operated applicator tool (batteries are included), sponge tops for the tool, and dermabrasion cream.You pop a sponge on top of the applicator, put cream on it and apply to your dampened skin. I set a timer for 3 minutes and work the applicator around the surface of my skin.The results are great! Dead skin is sloughed off, circulation is stimulated and the results are glowing soft skin.My skin looks lovely and feels smooth to the touch. It felt soft and wonderful after the very first application!Dermanew sells other applicator sponges and creams separately to use with the applicator tool on your hands and feet.Though the initial price tag seems high, this tool will last for years and help you to glowing skin! You can accomplish the same results you get with this system, by using any other cheaper system for sale out there, like Neutrogena or simply rubbing oatmeal on your face!On top of that, you CANNOT find the replacement foam applicators for the face by themselves, the company discontinued the sale of applicators alone!???. Isn't this ridiculous?   Tried NuBrilliance First, This is Better

  I bought Nubrilliance, used it twice and had the motor die. This product seems to have a better design (the filters stay put, unlike NB) and it comes with some nice extras that Nubrilliance doesn't- a cleaning brush, blackhead extractor, and 100 fliters. It doesn't have the course, fine, and small heads like Nubrilliance, but the one head it does have works fine for all areas. Another nice feature that Nubrilliance doesn't have is the screen, it has a digital readout that can walk you through a face treament with adjustments in suction intensity for each area and a timer, or you can put it on manual and work on your own time.I found tha suction to be less powerful than Nubrilliance but because the diamonds on the tip are on the outside rim of the tip, rather than recessed as in the center of the Nubrilliance tip, the diamonds are always in contact with your skin and you don't need as much suction.   I have been suffering from large pores and scaring on my face my entire life due too acne when I was younger.   I bought this home microderm product after many years of getting microderms at the spa, I normally go at least once a month and always love the results. I didn't even know that you could get something like this to use at home, and I was pretty surprised to find it on Amazon for so cheap. I normally spend at least $60 each time I go to the spa for my microderm, and I honestly can't tell much of a difference between the home treatment with the microderm md and what I was doing at the spa. The product even looks pretty much the same as the one they use at the spa, just a little bit smaller.As far as the results go, microderms in general really do the job.   cream is awesome; pad is very disappointing

  I had great results with this product with the first use. However, when I used it the second time, the triangular pad lost all of its abrasive surface, leaving me with a smooth, useless triangle. I replaced the triangle, thinking I had a "dud", but had the same thing happen with the second pad. The cream will work without the pad, but not as effectively.   This item was recommended in a magazine article for calluses on your feet, so I bought this specifically for that use. I used the triangular pumice attachment only.I was under the impression that the attachment would rotate,but in general it's just a vibrating(2 levels) machine with attachments that you move around your body manually. The vibrations weren't intense enough to make any difference. The actual machine has no function. I used the triangular pumice attachment only.I was under the impression that the attachment would rotate,but in general it's just a vibrating(2 levels) machine with attachments that you move around your body manually. The vibrations weren't intense enough to make any difference. The actual machine has no function. The body resurfacing cream which has little scrubbing crystals was ok , but can easily be used without this machine.   Amazing... then totally disappointed!

  I purchased this unit after seeing the infomercials and reading the product reviews on Amazon. I absolutely LOVED the unit the first 2 weeks I was using it. Then about 4 days ago I was doing another treatment and the unit lost suction in the middle of a treatment on my face. I am quite upset about it as I have come to depend upon the unit to help in treatments of acne scarring and dark marks on my face from sun damage.I have contacted the seller and am waiting as to what to do about it. I honestly LOVE the product but can't give it the original 5 star rating I would have 2 weeks ago now that the unit is becoming defective.If anyone else has this problem... please say so.   RE: Lost Suction... the solution

  Ive been reading great reviews, but users complain of lost suction... I almost didnt order one because of it. To make a long story short and to the point, there is a small silicone band that fits into one of the grooves of the wand. Mine popped off, I just happened to see it pop off or I wouldnt have known to even look for it. If you look at the produt diagram that came with the unit, you can sort of see a band in the groove, but it isnt labled. When it is missing, the unit has no vacuum seal and is ineffective. The problem is that you dont even realize that it is missing. Try using a tiny rubberband, you can get them at Walmart and at Dollar Tree stores in the hair section. Try slipping one into the groove and my guess is it will be just like new. Too bad the company doesnt lable it as a necessary componant of the system and maybe even include a few extras.   I received this product 3 days ago and have used it twice so far. I couldn't wait to use it the first night it arrived! After the first use, I noticed quite a difference in the appearance and feel of my skin. My skin felt so much softer and cleaner! Like another reviewer noted, it was like 40 lbs of make-up had been taken off, haha. Also, I noticed that the pores on and around my nose were visibly smaller (yay!). Using the product was simple - just put the pad on, get it wet, and turn it on! However, be forwarned that it is jarring to your face when you use it which is an odd sensation that I'll just have to get used to. Also, the instructions say to use on each part of your face for 1-2 minutes - I didn't have the patience for that, so I probably used it for 30-45 seconds on each part of my face instead.   I have owned my microderm abrasion system for about two months, and I have used it about two or three times a week since then. It feels sort of weird when I'm using it (kind of vibrates my face and isn't all that comfortable), and the product on the puffs tastes really terrible and inevitably vibrates it's way past my lips.
