  cream is awesome; pad is very disappointing

  I had great results with this product with the first use. However, when I used it the second time, the triangular pad lost all of its abrasive surface, leaving me with a smooth, useless triangle. I replaced the triangle, thinking I had a "dud", but had the same thing happen with the second pad. The cream will work without the pad, but not as effectively. If the manufacturer can come up with a pad that has a more permanent surface, they will have a winner with this product. On a positive note, I love the facial product! 1/5 M.   This item was recommended in a magazine article for calluses on your feet, so I bought this specifically for that use. I used the triangular pumice attachment only.I was under the impression that the attachment would rotate,but in general it's just a vibrating(2 levels) machine with attachments that you move around your body manually. The vibrations weren't intense enough to make any difference. The actual machine has no function.   Clarisonic vs. Olay Pro-X - an excellent value!

  I know you are wondering if a $28 item can compare at all to something that cost nearly ten times the price. The answer is YES! I have the Clarisonic Pro - which is the top of the line for their model, so before you spend the money on both, I'll do a side by side comparison for you. Mind you, I am VERY happy with my Clairsonic. Even knowing that this I am happy I made the purchase for both of them, since they are fairly different. Here's why:Size: The Olay Pro-X is about half the size of the Clarisonic. This is actually better in many ways. It is easier to hold, lightweight, it fits in my shower caddy easily without dropping, you can travel with it very easily. I think this is my favorite part about the differences. It also makes the brush head much smaller, which has a different effect. Of course, the motor is at least half the size as well, and this effects how this feels.   I was looking for something like this but I didn't want to spend $200 on the other brand when I wasn't sure it would work. For $30 I can take a bit of a chance. I have been using this brush since Christmas Eve and I am amazed at how much better my skin looks. At 56, zits and clogged pores that just dodn't want to go away are pretty much on the mend. Imbedded black heads have disappeared. I wouldn't use this more than once a day because it tends to dry out my skin. Hydrate after you use this. In short, I'm really glad I bought this cleaning system.   Just purchased - good price (after checking out the ProX prices, and that thing they have on the infomercial at over $250).Anyway, at 61, my skin is pretty good for my age, but it ain't 25 year old skin anymore! This product has done a nice job, and I've only used it 3 times - I already see a difference, a 'brighter' refreshed look. Just for the hell of it, I used the pad twice, and it worked fine! Maybe I didn't use it long enough the first time so it still had some "go" left in it. But, give it the ol' 1-2 try!I would have liked the pads to be maybe a little more abrasive - for older skin, that would be better.   I love this product. There are sufficient microdermabrasion pads included in this pack to get you hooked on using it--and hooked you will be, for the results speak for themselves. The brush heads however do not travel well. I took the cleansing system with me on a recent trip and brush was "squashed" in the packing, it now does not work as well which means that I need to throw out the brush head and use the other in the pack. I would suggest that if you travel you place the brush head in a hard container or back in its box. However, if you can't afford to do that, the Olay Pro-X is better than a washcloth, so I suppose I would recommend it for those on a very tight budget. Just be sure to clean the brush head in hydrogen peroxide after every few uses - if you let stuff build up in the bristles, you'll end up doing more harm than good to your face.   I purchased the Pretika Sonic Dermabrasion brush about 4 weeks ago, and it is a wonderful product! Originally wanted the clarisonic, but the Pretika is a great alternative and very reasonable price. My skin is combination (oily tzone). I dont have sensitive skin, so I use it daily on the lower setting as part of my regular skin care routine.. and once a week on stronger setting to exfoliate. My skin has never been smoother!! Its glowing, and keeps the blackheads away from my nose! I absolutely love it! I use glytone skin care products, and the brush definitely helps my skin better absorb them.   no more shiny forehead

  I have passed this product in the shopping aisle many times and finally gave in and decided to try it. I am so glad I made the purchase. My skin feels and looks amazing. It's velvety soft and I can't stop feeling the difference. My regular facials have never made my skin feel this good. I'm starting to wonder about their training now.At first I thought the price was too high but when I factor in the fact that I don't have to pay a babysitter to watch my toddler, set a facial appointment and pay for gas to get to that appointment, it's a savings in the long run.   I have been using this product since it came out on the market. When I turned 40 my skin needed help. I haven't stopped using it. I am 47 now and my skin looks and feels fantastic. My teenage son also uses this product for his severe acne. We tried every product for his acne and nothing worked and we did not want to continue using Accutane. My son had severe side effects while using Accutane for only 4 days. Although this is not a cure for acne, my son's face looks fantastic.   I am one that values the opinions of others and like most read reviews on an item prior to buying it. I was planning on buying an item 3 if not 4 times more $ than this item because it had better reviews and is a brand I am familiar with. I have better skin thanks to a recent Zeno purchase however you still have to wash your face several times a day. My old regime was using a puff buff and a cleanser that I felt was best suited for my skin. If it is a facial cleanser chances are it is in my toilette closet. When I bought this I thought this item would be my back up item. However, it has proven to do A LOT more than I thought. I have heard complaints about it not vibrating and that you have to do so.
